How it works
How each plan B is worked out
A plan B is the nearest other casino, in a straight line, that has your need by its published facts. If a casino publishes nothing about a need, it is never offered for it: silence never counts as yes.

The rule
The guide answers a fixed list of needs. Open at this hour uses published floor hours, and live tables now uses published table hours. The others are a poker room, a hotel on site, a racebook and free parking where a casino publishes it. The last is a SkyTrain station within 1 km in a straight line, from TransLink data.
Distance is a straight line between map coordinates from OpenStreetMap, computed by the guide. It is not a driving or walking distance. For each need, the plan B is the nearest other casino in a straight line that has it, and the next nearest is shown as a second option.
A casino whose facts do not mention a need is never offered for it. Great Canadian Casino Vancouver and River Rock Casino Resort publish table and poker hours but no floor hours. So neither is offered for open at this hour, though their table hours count for live tables now.
Hours and time zone
Every time on this site is local Pacific time. BC stays on Pacific time all year. The last clock change was on March 8, 2026, and clocks do not change on November 1, 2026. Hours are laid out as one week from Monday, as each casino publishes them.
Hours that run past midnight belong to the night they started, so a Friday that ends at 2 AM stays under Friday. Open now follows the published hours, not holidays. Holiday hours are not given here; check them on the casino's own site.
Where the facts come from
Facts were checked on October 7 and 8, 2026, against the casinos' own pages, operator news releases and official sources. Some casino sites block automated reading. For those, facts were read from archived copies of the same pages, dated by month.
SkyTrain stations come from TransLink's published transit data. Map coordinates come from OpenStreetMap, and the guide computes the straight lines between them. Where a casino's pages give different figures, the guide leaves the figure out or says that they differ.
Questions
Are the kilometres road distances?
No, each figure is a straight line between OpenStreetMap coordinates, computed by the guide. The site gives no driving or walking distances and no travel times.
Why does a casino with a car park not show free parking?
Free parking counts where a casino publishes it, and nowhere else. A casino whose facts do not mention free parking is never offered for that need.
When were the facts checked?
They were checked on October 7 and 8, 2026, against the casinos' own pages, operator news releases and official sources.
